One of the London’s top emerging jazz quartets is lead by composer and guitarist Giuseppe Pucciarelli. Following the release of his latest album Shall We Say It is Worth, Giuseppe Pucciarelli has assembled some of the most sought-after London Jazz musicians. Featuring Sam Knight on Sax, Chun-Ting Wang on Bass and Jeremy Paul on Drums.
The unmistakable character of the quartet is due to this intellectual element together with the guitarist somewhat melody-orientated approach. Although conceptually modern, Pucciarelli’s improvising is firmly grounded in the jazz tradition of melody and swing. Combining lyricism with forward thinking melodic lines, his playing style is distinguished by a very soft and mellow tone. His guitar-playing style recalls indeed guitar-giants such as Pat Metheny, Wes Montgomery and even his compatriot and hero Pino Daniele. A night not to be missed. “
Vesperados is a collective of creative jazz musicians interested in fusing big melodies with world rhythms and textures, intricate arrangements and expressive improvisation. Influenced by the likes of Nana Vasconcelas, Tito Puente, Ibrahim Maalouf and the Buena Vista Social Club, Vesperados mix warm, evocative ballads with fiery, percussive beats, salsa rhythms and jazz harmonies to create a uniquely memorable experience.
