Matt Coleman , The Happy Beigel Klezmer Orkester

Matt Coleman 7:30PM

Matt Coleman is a musical all-rounder, from playing keys in an Americana band in dive bars to pipe organ gigs at churches all over New York City. Hailing from Brisbane Australia and with recent performances in London after his US stint at venues such as The Water Rats, The Bread & Roses Clapham, and New Cross Inn, Matt keeps several performing projects alive at once. In his latest outfit Matt plays keys and sings, supported by bass and drums, performing songs from his 2017 album ‘Electricity’. Matt’s new material is continuously evolving and is pushing towards a second album soon to be in the works.

Matt’s original music appears in feature length films and recent PBS documentaries and he contributes to many recording projects with New York based producer Kiyanu Kim (guitarist, Gwen Stefani tour). Matt has also worked with multi-platinum selling, No. 1 charting Australian artist Tyrone Noonan and has extensive experience directing and accompanying choirs such as his recent post with a Haitian church choir in Queens, NY
