Dan Burnett is a powerful force in the world of blues and soul music. It’s in his blood.He was spoon-fed blues, soul, funk, and rock music from an early age by his parents. His father,Laurie Burnett was a well respected guitarist who wasin bands with ex David Bowie’s ‘Spiders from Mars’ Woody Woodmansey and Trevor Bolder, and played national support tours with actssuch as Hot Chocolate. In his teens, Laurie’s passion for musicwas helped along withguitar tuitionfrom his good friend, the legendary Mick Ronson.Dan learned to play the keys with his father’s guidance after receiving a keyboard for his 3rd birthday. By the time he was 9 years old, he was playing gigs throughout Yorkshire in his dad’s blues band, and from then on, live performancewas a way of life.Over the last few years, Dan has written and recorded music for TV & Film (including the Nicolas Cage movie ‘Stolen’, and the US TV series ‘Supernatural’), and has gigged extensively inthe UK, Europe and USA. Dan regularlyplays throughout the UK as a solo artist, and with his band.In November 2017, Dan released ‘Small World E.P.’ on iTunes and CD, which is his first entirely solo production.
